designIT is a tool for building practitioners to design more economical floor, wall and roof member layouts.
Upgrades include: beam sizing grouped in floor, wall and roofing applications; stud design, including design of notched studs; tie-down connections; snow loading calculation; and increased design options for a range of building materials.
designIT software was originally created for design with hySpan LVL and hyJoist engineered I-Joists and later versions incorporate other selected materials for houses and similar structures.
The software is useful for the selection of beam sizes without the need for engineering knowledge whilst also providing complex loaded bearer and joist calculators.
