Combined Group has launched an alternative to lead flashings for roofing applications. Wakaflex is a non-lead, non-toxic, flexible and lightweight replacement for abutments and rising parts of roof structures where lead would have traditionally been used. It can be used by both installers and homeowners currently forced to use lead due to a lack of alternatives. It can provide installers with a highly malleable material which can reduce installation time by up to 50 percent. The product comes with a 10-year warranty and is available though plumbing suppliers and builders merchants.
