Australian steel manufacturer, Fielders has rolled its longest ever single sheet of Aramax FreeSpan roof sheeting on a project site with the sheet measuring 137.2 metres.
Fielders used the mobile roll-former to create the sheet onsite which was to form the roofing component of the $17m Tamworth Saleyards redevelopment in New South Wales.

National manager of structures, Nathan Jack said that the record is an example of the company meeting new and challenging customer project requests.
“Rolling our longest ever sheet of Aramax FreeSpan is a significant accomplishment for Fielders and is testament to our ongoing commitment in striving to provide and deliver innovative solutions for a range of projects across the nation.
“When completed, the Tamworth Saleyards will be a world-class facility and we’re proud to be working on such an exciting project, we look forward to exceeding this current record on future projects that come our way,” said Jack.
The Aramax FreeSpan has the ability to be rolled onsite anywhere in the world and has a deep profile. The roof sheeting can span large unsupported distances between steel portals.
