The latest evolution of Philips Dynalite's lighting control software solution/operator interface, MapView, enables operators to program complex lighting tasks into automated macros, make manual changes easily, implement timed events, access a wide range of performance data and perform automated lighting tests.
Compatible with any standard PC, MapView features a graphical user interface, providing a detailed pictorial representation of the controlled space and allowing operators to configure and monitor all load devices on the network. Users can also zone in on individual lighting circuits and make changes at the click of a mouse.
"Operators can easily ensure lighting is only activated when and where it is required - and at the desired lux level - resulting in savings," says Philips Dynalite Energy Segment manager, Brett Annesley.
"Furthermore, if building owners and/or designers plan on achieving any kind of 'green' building accreditation, a lighting management tool such as MapView is essential."
