Australian home improvement chain, Masters have unveiled their new Home Improvement iPhone app that puts customer support, inspiration and product information at the fingertips of anyone improving or renovating their home.

The Masters Home Improvement app features a first-to-market ‘Chat Now’ function that links directly to Masters’ service representatives for on-the-spot answers on anything from stock availability to product information to online ordering assistance.

Director of Masters, Melinda Smith said, “We’ve taken the innovation of our popular in-store customer service buttons, where a staff member will respond within one minute of being called, and moved it into the digital world. All an app user needs do is type in a question and a Masters representative will respond in a matter of seconds.”


“There’s nothing like it in the market and we believe this app will soon become a must-have for anyone looking to make their DIY or home project as fuss-free and successful as possible,” said Smith.

Along with Chat Now, the app also features:

Product Finder – allows customers to shop for more than 30,000 products and search through 19 categories to buy on the spot

Projects – a practical library of ‘how-to’ videos, articles, and step-by-step instructions for lighting, paint, flooring and tiles, windows and walls, kitchens and appliances, planting and landscaping, outdoor living and garden tools, plumbing and electrical, hardware and tools, bathrooms, timber doors and joinery, housewares and storage projects
