Snowy Mountains House by James Stockwell Architects, highly commended winner in the 2009 BPN Sustainability Awards Single Dwelling (New) category.Due to strong interest, the submission deadline for the 2010 BPN Sustainability Awards has been extended to August 13.

Now in its fourth year, the BPN Sustainability Awards continue to reward designers and builders for best practice in sustainable projects across Australia.

In 2009, a record number of submissions were received, with the focus on sustainable building continuing to grow as issues like climate change gain further importance.

Projects must have been completed in the period January 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010. Products or services being entered in the Innovation of the Year category must have been launched in the same period.

Finalists will be announced in the September issue of BPN. Winners will be announced at a gala presentation in Sydney October 13, 2010, with winners and highly commended published in the December issue of BPN.

Entries close August 13.
