The NSW Housing Code was introduced at the start of this year to establish a 10-day 'complying development' approval process for housing projects — both new homes and renovations/additions — and potentially deliver $1000s in savings.
For many builders, the Code has streamlined the approval process, reduced delays and provided a consistent approach across NSW.
The Hon. Kristina Keneally MP, Minister for Planning, will be a keynote speaker to reflect on the Code’s implementation to date, to foreshadow the Code’s future direction and to outline the ways in which the Code will be expanded to allow for greater take-up.
