Azuratec SlabTanks offer water storage that is out of sight and does not take up space. It is available in almost any capacity and is hidden within the house slab.
The tanks are tough and simple and do not require deep holes or shoring. SlabTanks rely and benefit from the structural rigidity of the housing slab. This means they can be lighter and use less material without compromising durability. Because they are captured within the slab, they are not subject to hydrostatic lift and therefore do not require additional concrete ballast.
The Azuretec SlabTanks replace the ‘void forming’ members of a house slab (foam waffle pods or sand pads) and generally do not require any change to the slab design or reinforcement materials.
The tanks are suitable for rainwater harvesting, greywater storage and stormwater detention. They can be installed in almost any type of slab, including garages, driveways, verandahs and patios. The product is made from high density polyethylene.
