Holmesglen apprentices have been showcasing the artistic nature of bricklaying by reinventing the Aussie letterbox.
Six unique letterboxes, designed by Melbourne University architecture students, are currently being built out the front of the Holmesglen, Chadstone campus.
Designs include a twisted letterbox, a pacman character, and a Lego inspired design.
Austral Bricks donated the materials required to take the letterboxes from 2D to 3D form.
Building began on Monday 18 July and was completed on Friday August 5.
The community are invited to cast their vote online and the winning design will be rebuilt at a location, yet to be revealed, within the Monash City Council. ‘Post’ your vote by visiting www.holmesglen.edu.au/vote.
