Stylecraft will be exhibiting a selection of international and Australian products that hold the Good Environment Choice Australia (GECA) accreditation at DesignEx this week.
Stylecraft's push to 'go green' came from the management team and resulted in a decision to engage with Australian-based, carbon reduction and management company Climate Friendly. A long-term carbon footprint measurement and offset strategy has also been established and implemented.
Emissions associated with the operation of their three Australian showrooms and two warehouses were measured and Stylecraft opted to offset the 313 tonnes by purchasing voluntary carbon credits from Jaisalmer wind farm in India.
Stylecraft also have a large portion of their product range accredited by GECA. Accredited products include the Dis Chair from Dynamobel (pictured above) and other items from Arper, Akaba, Derlot and Stylecraft's Australian made collection.
