Tilling Timber has released SmartLVL 14. Manufactured from Douglas Fir using sustainable forestry practices, SmartLVL 14 now has an E rating of 14,000 Mpa, ensuring it as a viable and practical substitute for F17 hardwood achieving equivalent properties under AS1720.1.
SmartLVL 14 products have certification under the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) chain of custody program. SFI is also recognised by the PEFC, ensuring good forestry practices and comes with a Super-E0 rating under AS/NZ4357.4.2005.
The product comes in lengths up to 12m and 75 mm, 63 mm, 45 mm and 35 mm widths. Tilling has also matched the traditional F17 hardwood product sizes with the release of 90 mm, 140 mm, 190 mm, 240 mm and 290 mm across the 45 mm width range.
