Todae Solar has completed two of Australia’s largest rooftop solar systems, totalling 175kW, on the Euston Club & Resort in Euston and the Rules Club in Wagga Wagga.
The combined 175kW grid- connect solar power system was commissioned as part of the Solar in Clubs program through Clubs' Sustainable Futures and Solar Choice, servicing the NSW Club industry.
The new systems will have a combined expected output of 245,174kWh per year – saving the Clubs approximately $50,000 annually.
A 99kW system was installed on the roof of the Euston Club & Resort, comprising of 396 Suntech 250W modules with six SMA Tripower inverters. It is expected to have an output of 140,202kWh per year – enough to power approximately 20 homes.

“Part of Euston Club and Resorts’ responsibility as a leader in our community is to make sure we’re reducing our environmental impact and raising environmental awareness,” said Ray Jones CEO of Euston Club & Resort.
“Our decision to install solar on our rooftop, served as a way to further exemplify our leadership. We have already seen several additional benefits on top of energy savings.”
At The Rules Club in Wagga Wagga, Todae Solar installed a 76kW system comprising of 303 Canadian Solar 250W modules with four SMA Tripower inverters. The system is able to produce 104,972kWh per year – enough to power approximately 15 homes.
Jack Jolley General Manager of the Rules Club said that Todae Solar managed the entire process from proposal to installation professionally.
“We look forward to an ongoing relationship with them and to seeing the year-on-year benefits of the system,” said Mr Jolley.
“We see our commitment to our environmental goals inspiring other businesses and residents within our community to follow our lead in environmental stewardship.”
“We are extremely pleased with solar and are already achieving significant savings on our energy costs,” he said.

The new solar systems are expected to not only generate significant energy savings for the two Clubs but also have a large impact on the carbon footprint of the businesses.
Carbon emissions will be cut by approximately 305 tonnes of CO2 annually - the equivalent of taking 116 cars off the road each year.
Danin Kahn, CEO of Todae Solar, applauded the clubs, saying, “Todae Solar was proud to be selected by the Clubs to install solar on their premises. We congratulate the Clubs on their initiative to significantly reduce their environmental footprints and act as a leader in their communities.”
The two installations add to the already completed 95kW system installed on Club Sapphire, Merimbula by Todae Solar.
