Frasers Property has unveiled plans for flowering parks, rolling green spaces and exotic gardens at Putney Hill, the new masterplanned community coming to life on the edge of Putney and Ryde.
Together with landscape designer Environmental Partnership, Frasers Property’s vision for Sydney’s newest urban oasis includes a 4,400 square metre, wildlife-friendly bushland park adjacent to Palmera Apartments, a hill top green with open grassy terraces and relaxing low key spaces, Figtree Park - a rainforest style garden with native exotic flora, and community rooftop gardens with activated spaces where residents can grow vegetables and herbs.
These landscapes will be interspersed throughout the neighbourhood, and in addition to the 24,000-square metre showpiece Lardelli Park, will accommodate outdoor pastimes for residents and the wider community.
Adam Hunter, Environmental Partnership director said, “It’s rare to find a new community with such a large percentage of the total area dedicated entirely to green spaces. Our brief was to create a landscape as close to Sydney’s natural bush setting as we could.”
“The use of native and indigenous plants really contribute to the feeling you are getting back to nature, while the green open spaces provide both areas for relaxation and escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The lucky residents of Putney Hill will have this all to enjoy, as an extension of their backyards,” said Mr. Hunter.
Adam Sparkes, Frasers Property group sales manager, suggested that Putney Hill’s park offering has proved a real hit with homebuyers.
“These spaces, in addition to the wealth of proposed amenities just next door, including a new childcare centre, community hall, professional medical suites, tennis and basketball courts and a playground, will provide a level of convenience residents will relish,” continued Mr. Sparkes.
