Two of Australia’s best known architecture names, BVN and Donovan Hill, have come together to form a new architecture studio BVN Donovan Hill.
The new design studio being created holds many of the most highly prized architecture awards in Australia.
In the Institute of Architects’ 2012 National Architecture Awards, six of BVN Donovan Hill’s projects have been shortlisted by the jury for National Awards that will be announced on 1 November in Perth.
BVN Donovan Hill has 14 Principals leading 250 staff in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne studios along with adjunct offices in Canberra, Auckland, Bangkok and London.
“This exciting change to our work culture follows happy syntheses between the two practices on previous ventures,” said James Grose, national director.
“BVN Donovan Hill has a rich mix of skills and experience across a wide range of building types that will position us to take on global projects in the fast changing business world.”
“An ongoing evolution, change and succession within the Principals group have ensured a depth of experience that will continue to deepen with our latest transition,” said Grose.
