Melbourne architecture firm ClarkeHopkinsClarke (CHC) announced the promotion of key team members Simon LeNepveu and Jonathan Curran recently at their annual mid-year staff dinner. Associate Simon LeNepveu was promoted to Senior Associate, and Senior Architect Jonathan Curran to Associate.
Joining CHC almost 10 years ago, LeNepveu has come to specialise in the design and delivery of education projects. Having worked on a variety of project types, he finds education projects as the most satisfying. Some of the projects executed by LeNepveu in this category include Eltham Primary School, his first school project where he saw students and teachers using the spaces for the first time; the junior campus redevelopment at Mount Waverley Secondary College; and the Officer Specialist School, designed to address the specific needs of students with intellectual disabilities.
Jonathan Curran has over 15 years of industry experience, possessing a strong capability in the delivery of healthcare facilities that combine functionality and aesthetics, and support the needs of patients and staff. Curran joined CHC’s healthcare team in 2014.
Curran enjoys working in healthcare architecture, especially the technical aspects, where he has the opportunity to learn something new every day. He explains that healthcare architecture involves a very complex coordination process with the consultant team, and no two projects are ever the same.
