Entries are now open for the Eat-Drink-Design Awards 2013.

The awards celebrate the designers and their clients who create great eating and drinking experiences.

Entry is open to all design professionals for projects located in Australia and New Zealand, and completed between 1 July 2011 and 30 June 2013.

Projects must be for individual venues designed primarily for hospitality use, for the retail of food and beverages, or visual identities for either of these project types.

Entries close on 26 July 2013 and winners will be announced at an awards party in late October.

Winners will be decided by a jury made up of five people including, Christine Manfield, chef and restaurateur; John Birmingham, author and food writer; Domenic Alvaro, architect; Rachel Hurst, design writer; and Cameron Bruhn, design media.

Categories include:

  • Best Bar Design
  • Best Restaurant Design
  • Best Cafe Design
  • Best Temporary Design
  • Best Retail Design
  • Best Visual Identity Design

Each category winner will receive a $1500 cash prize.
