Empire Melbourne, a 62-storey skyscraper project being developed for Mammoth Empire has achieved a milestone by topping out seven months ahead of the scheduled date of completion.
The tower’s final level was completed last week. The project was originally scheduled for completion in December 2017.
The latest design and construct contract for the Empire Melbourne is the second project that Probuild is delivering in collaboration with PDS Group and Mammoth since the completion of the MY80 residential tower in Melbourne’s CBD in 2014.
Located at 398 Elizabeth Street, Empire Melbourne will offer 487 residential apartments, two retail tenancies and a gym, as well as 87 car parks.
The first lot of 348 apartments and all common areas will be handed over to Mammoth Empire on 31 July 2017, with the remaining 139 apartments due for completion in September 2017.
