ARBS has announced the 28 finalists over nine categories for its Industry Awards.

The awards — which will run as part of the ARBS 2010 exhibition - recognise excellence achieved by individuals and companies in the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration and building services industry.

Finalists include:

• HVAC Product Excellence: Air Change Australia for the Green Building Air Handling Unit; ebm-papst for EC Technology; Seeley International for Climate Wizard; Fantech for Ecospeed Fans

• HVAC Project Excellence: James L Williams for Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre; Daikin Australia in partnership with MMA and Crest Air Conditioning for Daikin HQ Sydney; AE Smith in partnership with Floth Sustainable Building Consultants and Thiess for 400 George St Brisbane

• Environmentally Sustainable Design Product Initiative: Air Change Australia for the Green Building Air Handling unit; Muller Industries for H09 Series Air Cooled Condensers; Seeley International for Climate Wizard

• Environmentally Sustainable Design Project Leadership: Waterman AHW in partnership with Buildcorp and Citta Property Group for Workplace 6, Sydney; Steensen Varming for Surry Hills Library and Community Centre, Sydney; Built Ecology/WSP Lincolne Scott for Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre

Eleven industry professionals will also be admitted to the ARBS Hall of Fame, recognising their efforts in terms of service, contribution, commitment and leadership to furthering the HVAC&R industry.

Winners will be announced April 13.
