WET Designs has created the worlds' largest fountain in Dubai, featuring more than 6,600 WET superlights, 25 colour projectors and capable over 1,000 abstract expressions, all in sync with music.Set on the 30 acre Burj Dubai Lake, the fountain oscillates water jets as high as 500 ft (150 metres) equivalent to that of a 50 storey building. The fountain is 900 ft (275 metres) long and has five circles of varying sizes and two central arcs. It’s size is 25 per cent larger than the Bellagio Fountain in Las Vegas and visible from over 20 miles away up or horizontally if you have a clear line of sight.With its integral light and sound show, it is expected to become one of the city's major tourist attractions, drawing approximately 10 million visitors a year.
