A list of top 50 Sustainable Building Leaders has been announced by Sydney-based consultancy Australian Living.
The program aims to reward those who 'inspire' and 'educate' in the field of sustainable building.
The Awards held by Your Future Home received a total of 90 nominations and over 2000 votes from the public.
Cameron Rosen, Managing Director at Australian Living said:
“It is important to reward individuals, companies, websites, associations and NGOs for all of their hard work in dramatically improving the sustainability of buildings. We are looking to forward to next year’s Top 50 and we hope to see some newcomers on the list.”
Some of the companies and people who have made it into the top 50 are Joost Bakker renowned for his Greenhouse sustainable pop-up café/bars which have featured in Sydney and Melbourne as well as the University of New South Wales Built Environment faculty and Norman Disney and Young.
