A new residential precinct designed by dKO Architecture called the Precinct is set to rise in Melbourne.
The 10,000 sqm Precinct site will include a low-rise five-building complex in a garden setting by the Yarra River in Abbotsford.
Salvo Property Group is developing the $120 million apartment block, and has already sold 94 per cent of the dwelling off the plan, according to The Age, which reported the developments as a sign of Melbourne’s ‘mini apartment boom’.
The buildings surround a central avenue of landscaped gardens, designed by LBA Design.
dKO Architecture say the apartments are designed to make the most of the city skyline and parkland views.
Solar orientation is maximised through the use of extensive glass and reflective surfaces while a considered and predominantly neutral palette to enable the end user to introduce their own personality to the spaces.
