The Meeting Place heritage building in South Fremantle has been upgraded to demonstrate a sustainable retrofit.
Free tours are currently running the first Sunday of the month, anytime between 1-4pm. The Meeting Place opened as part of Sustainable House Day 2010.
The goal is to demonstrate how to save money with solar passive design, rain water harvesting, solar power, natural and efficient lighting, edible gardens and more.
