Architects FJMT (Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp) are putting on an exhibition in Chatswood, Sydney, of four public building projects which they designed to address important questions in culture and learning spaces.

The architects said:

“Places of culture and learning are essential to our identity and sense of community. These four architectural projects - The Concourse, Surry Hills Library and Community Centre, Auckland Art Galllery, and the Faculty of Law University of Sydney - seek to realise community aspirations through forms that are not merely functional but also a poetic expression of shared values; organic, tectonic expressions of social and environmental interconnection.”

Exhibition open until 29 April at the art space on The Concourse, 409 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood, 2067

Opening hours: Wed to Fri, 11am-6pm; Sat: 11am-5pm; Sun 11am-4pm
