The annual LEAF Awards winners have been announced in London, with Australia’s shortlisted projects missing out to an almost exclusively European list of winners.
Held in association with Emirates Glass, and now in its 9th season, the awards seek to honour the architects designing the buildings and solutions that are setting the benchmark for the international architectural community.
The awards are open to all individuals and organisations that have made an outstanding contribution to the world of architecture. Previous winners have included Zaha Hadid, David Chipperfield, SOM, Steven Holl and Terry Farrell.
Australian entrants shortlisted were NH Architecture’s Myer redevelopment in Bourke Street and Kavellaris Urban Design’s Jewel, both Melbourne projects, and Hassell’s Ecosciences Precinct in Queensland.
