Leading interior fitout firm Amicus Interiors recently
completed an office project for a creative agency in Melbourne.
Amicus created a stylish and creative interior office
space in under eight weeks for Hardwire at 517 Flinders Lane, Melbourne. The
client’s brief required Amicus to refurbish the company’s existing tenancy into
a fresh office that not only reflected the creative agency’s new brand but also
was downsized from 650 to 400 square metres, complete with breakout areas to
facilitate staff collaboration, fun spaces and increased natural light.
Amicus Interiors CEO Mr Andrew Holder observes that working
with clients such as Hardwire is a fun and creative process that allows them to
think outside the box and create a completely functional fitout with the cool
factor.
As part of the $300,000 fitout project, Amicus
reconfigured six areas, offices and meeting rooms in addition to creating new
workstations and a brand new reception area. Artwork and primary colours were
used in the breakout areas to further brighten the space. Amicus also removed
the carpet, leaving the concrete slabs exposed to create an industrial-style
space that complemented the bright walls.
Amicus was also required to reconfigure the air
conditioning and power to suit the new office, a challenging task that was
achieved successfully without impacting the tight deadline.
Amicus completed the project on time while staying under
the budget.
