Brookfield Multiplex will be building Tower Two at Walker Corporation’s prestigious project in Melbourne’s CBD.

Located at 727 Collins Street and a part of the landmark Collins Square development, Tower Two marks the second building for Brookfield Multiplex in the development, having also completed the $205 million Tower One in 2013. Tower Two comprises of a 39-storey office tower and will connect to Towers One and Four.

According to Mr Graham Cottam, Regional Managing Director of Victoria at Brookfield Multiplex, the company is proud to be associated with Walker Corporation’s prestigious CBD commercial and retail development on the construction of the next stage of the landmark project.

A $1.8 billion development consisting of five commercial office buildings and over 200,000 square metres net lettable area over a whole city block, Collins Square connects all its towers via an integrated podium three levels above ground with two towers already completed.

The development will be environmentally sustainable and is targeting a 5 Star Green Star Design and As Built v3 Rating as well as a NABERS Energy 5 Star rating.

Since the construction will take place on a live site, Brookfield Multiplex will be executing most of the work on weekends to minimise the impact to tenants. Construction is expected to be completed in March 2016, with the overall tower targeting a June 2016 completion date.
