Well known Italian lighting designer Foscarini has
introduced two new lighting fixtures in the market.
To be available in the U.S. for the first time, the Foscarini Crash
& Bell and Foscarini Metafisica fixtures are inspired by everyday objects.
Crash & Bell is inspired by a cymbal and a bell in a drum set, with
the light fixture given a surface treatment with small, concentric grooves,
similar to their musical inspirations. Crash & Bell fixtures are available in
bronze and aluminium.
Metafisica's blown glass body appears to float atop a rough metal cage, exuding
golden highlights amidst an enchanting play of shadows on the supporting
surface.
