Staples Safety Solutions is a new Staples division providing a single
source solution for safety equipment to Australian businesses.
Specialising in a wide range of safety equipment including Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE) and workwear, Staples Safety Solutions offers over
25,000 products to meet the workplace safety requirements of industries such as
mining, construction, manufacturing, food service, transport, government and
warehousing.
Joe Taylor, Head of Facility Solutions, Staples Australia and New
Zealand explained that the new division was launched to fill the gap in the
market for safety equipment as well as to meet the increasing demand from their
customers for a single source solution for all their PPE and workwear
requirements.
Staples’ Safety Specialists also advise customers on solutions for their
specific requirements, ensuring they order only the necessary equipment and
clothing, reducing overhead costs and excess deliveries.
Onsite vending machines with key card access can also be provided to
enable staff to access safety equipment on the go at any given time. Each
vending machine has an inventory management system that tracks stock usage and
controls stock on hand with auto-replenish levels set by the customer. Staples
can additionally provide customised reporting to help manage procurement goals
for stock replenishment.
Staples Safety Solutions sources all of the safety equipment and
workwear from reputable safety brands, with the complete range meeting Australian
or equivalent global standards.
Staples Safety Solutions will also soon introduce a revamped online
ordering platform to simplify the process of ordering workwear for customers. The
new functionality will enable them to customise their uniforms with logos and
associated embroidery, with assured faster turnaround time.
The Staples supply chain model has 22 warehousing and distribution
points offering next day delivery in metro regions.
Staples’ new 180-page standalone catalogue showcases some of the PPE,
workwear and site safety products available from Staples Safety Solutions.
