Silvan Australia has introduced three new bird control products to its
Selecta range, designed to safely prevent or discourage intrusions, damage and
economic losses caused by birds.
Birds can create a wide range of problems especially in horticulture,
orchards and home gardens, as well as on buildings and other structures.
Selecta bird control products include Selecta bird spikes, Selecta bird repeller
tape and Selecta bird control balloons.
Selecta Bird Spikes
Mounted on flat, curved or irregular surfaces, Selecta bird spikes
discourage birds from alighting or perching on structures including outdoor
light fittings, roofs, pergolas, balconies or building ledges. Each pack contains
10 x 50 cm lengths with 110mm lengths of stainless steel spikes attached.
Selecta Bird Repeller Tape
Selecta bird repeller tape is a colourful metallic ribbon that will repel
bird activity with its movement and sound. Measuring 100 metres by 2.54 mm in
section, the tape can simply be cut to the desired length and tied to trees in
orchards or the home garden, or used in vegetable gardens to discourage bird
activity.
Selecta Bird Control Balloons
Designed to be installed at a height, Selecta bird control balloons
feature reflective tassels and luminous eyes that help to scare birds away from
a backyard, garden, nursery or similar location. Each pack contains three
balloons in different colours and reflective qualities.
