The Australian Standards Quick Reference Service has recently been upgraded with Australian Institute of Architects A+ members getting exclusive access to a comprehensive standards reference service.
All professional staff in A+ practices have online read-only access to Australian Standards (AS), joint Australia/New Zealand Standards (AS/NZS) plus Australian and joint Australian/New Zealand adoptions of ISO and IEC Standards (AS/ISO, AS/IEC, AS/NZS/ISO and AS/NZS/IEC).
The upgraded service now allows A+ members to purchase the standards at a special discount of 20 per cent off the normal hard-copy price.
The upgraded A+ Standards Service also includes copy and paste rights for up to 25 per cent of a Standard; 10-hour download time; and access to LexConnect and CodeConnect.
Copy and paste rights
Copy and paste up to 25 per cent of a Standard into your own internal documents such as WHS and HR documents, policies, projects, training and procedure guides.
10-hour download time
Download and save a Standard to your computer for 10 hours.
Access to Lex Connect
Lex Connect will provide a list of all Australian legislations that the Standard is referenced in, including where it is referenced in the legislation. It will also provide a list of other Australian Standards referenced in that particular legislation.
Access to Code Connect
Code Connect will provide a list of all Australian Codes of Practice that the Standard is referenced in, including where it is referenced in the Code. It will also provide a list of other Australian Standards referenced in that particular Code of Practice.
Limits to access
There is a login time limit of 30 minutes; however, the member can log in again once the session has lapsed.
