The winners of the 2016 New Zealand Architecture Awards were announced in Wellington on Friday 11 November, recognising the best architectural design across the country.
Out of 50 shortlisted projects, 27 were selected as winners across 18 categories, with some firms taking home numerous awards.
The program was judged on behalf of the New Zealand Institute of Architects by Jasper van der Lingen of Sheppard and Rout, Megan Edwards of Megan Edwards Architects, Michael O’Sullivan of Bull O’Sullivan and Australia’s Andrew Maynard.
