There isn’t a more anticipated contest in the Australian sporting arena than a New South Wales versus Queensland game of rugby league. And while the rivalry is fiercest on the field that’s not to say it is restricted to the turfs of Lang Park and ANZ Stadium.
The contention that comes with the State of Origin contest is in the blood of every “Cockroach” and “Cane Toad”, born in either of Australia’s north eastern states, and this includes architects.
Below are two “teams” of 13 residential projects selected from the NSW and QLD State Architecture Awards, hosted by the Australian Institute of Architects. Be sure to let us know who you think would win the contest in the comment field below and stay tuned for round two.
