AJC has announced a change to its ownership team, with Dua Green (left) and Duncan Corrigall (right) becoming Directors alongside Michael Heenan, Brian Mariotti and John Whittingham.

Green has been the driving force behind AJC’s outstanding education projects, developing architectural responses for a number of institutions alongside staff, students and the community. Abbotsleigh Senior School Centre for Science & Art, Abbotsleigh Junior School Library & Innovation Centre and the Greenhalgh Centre for Music & Drama, Meriden School have all been shortlisted for local and international architecture or learning environment awards programs.

"Understanding the way discovery and play contribute to learning at different ages is critical to a good outcome, both in terms of design and education,” Green says.

“It’s always a dialogue. We’ve completed some truly inspiring projects recently that are already delivering exceptional oUtcomes for these schools.

"I am looking forward to continUing this work, and helping guide AJC’s future. I would also like to thank the owners Michael, Brian and John for their support over many years."

Duncan Corrigall has played a major role in the practice’s ability to provide masterplanning, project advocacy and rezoning services across NSW. With housing a top priority for both sides of the aisle, Corrigall has represented landowners and government agencies in their efforts to strategically rezone hundreds of hectares across the state.

Corrigall is additionally in charge of AJC’s urban design and architectural support services for early project proposals and business cases, contributing to $400 million of successful star and federal funding applications in the previous financial year.

"It feels fantastic to join the ownership team, and I’m excited for what that represents: Urban design becoming one of the foundational pillars of AJC,” Corrigall says.

“The urban team at AJC is world-class, and we have some city changing projects ahead of us.”

Continuing Directors Michael Heenan, Brian Mariotti and John Whittingham say they are delighted for the pair and have congratulated them on their elevation.

"We are very proud to have Dua and Duncan step into these important roles,” they say.

“It marks the continuing evolution of this proud practice, and a milestone in our history as we celebrate 70 years. The move broadens our leadership expertise and scope as well as acknowledges the enormous contributions of these two outstanding individuals.”
