Arup has announced that 11 of its staff members have been appointed to the Property Council of Australia’s 2023/24 Industry Committees.
The appointments will ensure the sustainable development consultancy firm will continue to play a significant role in the vision of Australia’s property industry, including policy development and advocacy.
The firm hopes that its influence will result in increased industry resilience, culminated through a sustainable approach. With borrowing costs rising and economic outlooks weakening, the Industry Committees face a year of challenges in terms of creating effective policy.
Arup’s members will be involved on a number of state and national committees, covering a range of eclectic sectors including cities, education, commercial office and social infrastructure, as well as sustainability, industrial and logistics, diversity, equity and inclusion and future directions.
