Leading Australian property group, Mirvac has partnered with celebrated interior designer, Brahman Perera to style the interiors of their latest prestige apartment offering, The Albertine in Melbourne.

Brahman (Brem), the designer name behind the interiors of some of Australia’s favourite restaurants as well as some of the most luxurious private residences in Melbourne, will now add his creative flair to The Albertine’s residents-only spaces.

Brem has collaborated with Mirvac Design to style The Albertine’s lobby and concierge area, The Elysian Room, an exclusive dining space, and the Experience Gallery, which provides future residents with a preview of things to come.

“For The Albertine, I wanted to create a layered landscape of new and treasured pieces that allow each space to feel warm and honest, encapsulating a contemporary lived-in feeling, with inflections of affability with locally made and designed furniture, in line with the vision to create a layered life of luxury,” Brem says.

“Throughout The Albertine, there are amazing pitted and charred timber pieces and tables by Bieemele, a furniture maker based in Red Hill, as well as a large custom timber and sand-cast iron dining table from another local designer, Daniel Barbera. Artwork was selected to embody and represent local artists: paintings by Eleanor Louise Butt, Stephanie Jook, and Elefteria Vlavianos. Another favourite of mine is the solid oak sculptural totem by Hugh McCarthy.”

The Albertine continues Mirvac’s legacy of landmark residential addresses in Melbourne, and bolsters their Victorian residential portfolio.

The Albertine is located on a 2,323sqm site in the city-fringe St Kilda Road precinct. The $200-million development will offer approximately 100 large-format one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments across 15 storeys.

Future-ready by design, The Albertine will be fully electric with an average NatHERS energy efficiency rating of 7 stars.

The Albertine will join Mirvac’s $6.8 billion Victorian residential development pipeline, which includes future planned apartment projects at 699 Park Street alongside Princes Hill, The Fabric at Altona North and Trielle at Yarra’s Edge.
