Buchan has introduced three new senior appointments to its Australian studios, which will enhance and expand the practice’s health, sport and leisure and entertainment capabilities.

Buchan CEO Stephen Auld is excited for all three new appointments to make their mark on the practice’s work. The new team members will filter into Buchan's one-studio structure, which allocates resources based on skillset and capacity as opposed to geographical location.
"The appointment of these talented individuals builds the diversity of our team as we grow our health capability and continue to expand in the sport, leisure and entertainment sectors," he says.
"We welcome Lynn, Carol and My Thuat and look forward to their valued contribution to Buchan's culture of design and delivery excellence."
Lynn Van Dievoort’s strengths lie in the realms of architecture, urbanism and spatial design. Her abilities are transferable to all aspects of the design process, working on the likes of the Gold Coast Hospital & Health Service Coomera Health Precinct, Blue Care aged care facilities and the Mackay Regional Sports Precinct.
New Associate Carol Leung joins Buchan to work with the studio’s Interiors team, exuding a passion for people-centric places in the Asia Pacific. The new Associate’s outstanding BIM skills will assist in contributing to the delivery of a number of leisure, entertainment, hotels and mixed-use projects.
Senior Project Designer My Thuat Ho holds extensive expertise in the built environments of Australia and Vietnam. Ho has worked across a suite of sectors, including health, hospitality, mixed-use and multi-residential.
Buchan regards Ho as a skilled planner, designer and documentor and references her collaboration skills as a major reason behind the appointment.Ho's focus will be on health, drawing on her experience in senior project coordination roles for Sydney Children's Hospital, The Children's Hospital at Westmead and North Shore Health Hub.
