DKO has completely invigorated its leadership team, unveiling its new Board Chairman, Stella Rosenthal (pictured top), along with the appointment of six new Associates.

The practice says the appointments reflect DKO’s commitment to fostering growth and excellence at all levels of the practice. Aaron Bettio-Sandlant, Judith Williamson and Ngai Lao will all influence the direction of the practice’s Victorian output, while Daniel Nolan, Lizzie Rix and Mathue Denicker will do similar across New South Wales.

DKO appointments

“I am delighted and honoured to be appointed Chair of the Board of such a renowned and successful architectural practice that has a broad reach across Australia, New Zealand and Asia,” says new Chairman, Stella Rosenthal.

“DKO’s commitment to putting people at the heart of what they do is something that deeply resonates with me. This commitment is evident in how they approach their clients, their teams and how they design and deliver extraordinary places for people to live and work.

“As Chair, I am committed to fostering an environment of creativity, excellence and collaboration within the practice. Together with the exceptional team at DKO, we will continue to challenge conventional thinking, embrace emerging technologies, and create spaces that inspire and enrich lives.”

Rosenthal possesses over two decades of leadership experience across property development, construction and finance. Her ability to evolve companies in times of change makes her a logical fit for DKO, driving strategic outcomes, building strong organisational culture and designing resilient operational frameworks.

The practice is of the belief that people and professional growth are the driving factors of the practice. Founder and Director Koos de Keijzer says the appointments are a testament to the practice’s commitment to excellence.

“We are proud to welcome these passionate and driven individuals to our team,” he says.

“Their diverse expertise and fresh perspectives will definitely contribute to enriching the built environment.”
