Arcadia has announced Scott Jackson has joined the landscape architecture practice as a Senior Associate, adding a further ten years of local design expertise to its growing team.
Jackson will be tasked with leading Arcadia design teams in delivering world-class landscape and urban design projects across New South Wales. The new Senior Associate has a multidisciplinary background, with qualifications in landscape, urban design and project management, bringing a unique perspective and a passion for working in master planning, the public realm, place and education.
“We are excited to have Scott join the Arcadia team, bringing his considerable experience in leading large-scale public realm projects and his industry-leading skills in Revit and BIM,” says Arcadia Principal Alex Longley.
“His philosophy and approach to landscape architecture and urban design complements the way we work at Arcadia, and we are looking forward to Scott taking a senior leadership role in the studio, leading complex projects from concept phase to construction.”
Jackson says he was drawn by the diversity in the portfolio of projects at Arcadia he will now be heavily involved within.
“I have followed Arcadia’s growth and success over recent years and the strong collaborative approach to connection to Country in their work is something that really appealed to me. I believe the studio culture and team environment is going to be great to be a part of,” he says.
Scott is based in Sydney at Arcadia’s new office at Jones Bay Wharf which will accommodate Arcadia’s growing team.
