Brisbane-based bureau^proberts has announced that Amena Reza will join the practice in the newly created role of Head of Strategy and Operations.

Building on her affinity with the practice, Reza joins in an official capacity after serving on bureau^proberts’ Advisory Board for the past five years. The majority of her career has been spent working alongside architectural firms in strategic growth roles.

“I’m excited to bring my drive, strategic leadership and governance experience to the table to help bureau^proberts build on its great platform to take its passionate and dedicated team of design leaders to the next level,” Reza says.

“Having played an instrumental role in setting the practice’s Strategic Plan, I am delighted to now be a part of the team that brings the strategic vision to life.”

bureau^proberts’ Creative Director Liam Proberts says the role has been created in order to strengthen workplace culture and navigate through a number of local and international projects currently in the pipeline and into the future.

“This role recognises our unwavering commitment to fulfilling our design ambitions as well as business goals,” he says.

“We look forward to drawing on Amena’s extensive strategic leadership experience to bolster our practice and work in Australia and abroad.”
