DKO has announced seven promotions of key personnel within its Australian studios in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
Making a splash in a short space of time, interiors specialist Isabel Munro has been promoted to Senior Associate after joining the practice’s Melbourne studio in 2021. Further new role appointments within DKO’s Melbourne team include the promotion of Sam McCubbin to Senior Associate. The practice sees the elevation of McCubbin as a natural progression for the socially conscious designer,
DKO has additionally made five of its personnel Associates across its east coast studios.
Zoe Gillard’s career with DKO started in 2021, bringing two decades of experience to the practice. Gillard has worked on significant Australian projects across a diverse range of sectors, including hotels, hospitality, multi-residential, retail, commercial, heritage and industrial projects.
Dimitri Noulas is a proven collaborator and his respect for architecture is beneficial for both clients and consultants. The new Associate takes great pride in his work and in developing good working relationships with everyone involved in a project.
Recently appointed Associate David Felicio strives to achieve meaningful outcomes in all his projects through collaboration and commitment to design excellence. Felicio believes a community-centric people-first and collaborative design process is the key to successful outcomes.
DKO has promoted Rene Garcia to Associate following eight years of leading a number of technical and signature projects across all DKO studios. His inter-disciplinary rigour and safety & design knowledge have been vital components in a project’s success.
Luke Szklarz was promoted to Associate following a recent tenure in Perth where he demonstrated tenacity and enthusiasm for all aspects of design. Commencing at DKO as a Graduate Architect in 2014, Sklarz’s promotion to Associate reflects his successful development in project-solving, for which he has garnered great respect and admiration.
DKO have additionally promoted Nguyen Hoan Vu and Pham Son Tung within its Ho Chi Minh City studio.
