dwp has announced David Stoneley has joined the practice’s Health Architecture and Clinical Planning team in Australia as Design Director. 

With extensive experience in managing and delivering medical projects across the country, the appointment will strengthen dwp’s offering within the sector nationwide. Stoneley has developed specialist skills in engagement with clinicians and stakeholders during the design of facilities for public hospitals and private health sector clients.

The new Design Director has a passion for sustainability in healthcare design and intelligent facility design optimising the longer term operational cost and saving energy.

Stoneley has worked with dwp Global Health Sector Leader Ron Bridgefoot in the past, with both sharing a passion for meeting client expectations, as well as delivering on budget to a high standard. Both professionals place a strong emphasis on the effective management of a project team and on maintaining a continuous line of communication between client and team.

Stonely was formerly the Director Health Sector National Lead Architect for two Australian practices over the course of a decade and has helped deliver a number of multi-million dollar facilities.
