ThomsonAdsett has announced the appointment of a new Principal and the promotion of two of its personnel to the level of Associate, all while moving office.

Naomi Herzog has joined the practice as Principal - Business Development. An accomplished business development professional, Herzog possesses broad experience across the design, development and construction sectors. She has a sound appreciation for the challenges and opportunities in bringing projects to life. Naomi is passionate about design and is aligned with ThomsonAdsett’s values and ethos of care.

"Naomi’s appointment brings a focused business development capability to ThomsonAdsett,” says ThomsonAdsett CEO Cameron Frazer.

“Her deep experience across many aspects of the architecture, engineering and construction sector will bring tremendous value to us."

Brisbane team members Alex du Plessis and Armin Causevic have been elevated to the role of Associate.

Du Plessis is a highly experienced architect with a portfolio of global projects including major airports, large and small retail, multi-residential, health and interiors. A 3D computer design specialist, he works across scales using 3D modelling and visualisation as design tools.

"Alex is a driver of our design culture and key supporter of our technology platforms as enablers of project management and delivery," says Frazer.

"He is appreciated for his ability to quickly explore design options right from project inception."

Causevic joined ThomsonAdsett in 2015 as an architectural technician. His diverse experience includes residential, retail, commercial, seniors living, health, education and community projects. As ThomsonAdsett’s Building Information Modelling (BIM) Manager, Armin is focused on the continual improvement of the practice’s CAD systems, including strategic planning and IT infrastructure integration. Fraser gives the new Associate a ringing endorsement.

"Armin leads our BIM capability with grace and expertise and is highly valued by his colleagues," he says.

"His promotion recognises his contribution to the quality of ThomsonAdsett's service and projects."

"In a post-pandemic market, a quality workplace is key to attracting and supporting team members. We've created a welcoming space where our team can enjoy collaborating and sharing ideas."
