AUSTRALIAN manufacturer AIR-CELL Insulation has launched Permifloor™, an insulation innovation designed specifically for suspended- framed floor applications, delivering a two-in-one insulation and water-permeable moisture management solution.
Permifloor™ is manufactured with a patented closed-cell, physically cross-linked foam structure sandwiched by highly reflective foil surfaces and perforated with tiny, evenly-spaced holes. These perforations allow water and vapour to permeate through, preventing moisture that can often collect under flooring when using conventional underfloor insulation systems.
As with all of AIR-CELL’s products, Permifloor™ is fibre-free, non-allergenic, environmentally friendly and fast and easy to install.
Permifloor™ has been stringently fire-tested and is CodeMark-certified to comply with Australian Standards and BCA regulations.
