THE Speedheat carpet heating panel is like an electric blanket fitted under your carpet. It is completely waterproof, weight- proof and electrically earthed for safety. Installation is simple as it is rolled out and taped down to the underlay.
The uniquely thin 1 mm Speedheat element means the heating panel can be installed on the underlay directly beneath the carpet, so you don’t feel the element underfoot. This means it is perfect for both new builds and renovations as there are no screeds raising floor levels.
Because the Speedheat heating elements sit above slab and above screed, the system uses around 80W per sqm — much less than in-slab elements, in-screed elements and even air-conditioning units.
