Available from Lafarge Plasterboard, MastaShield ECO and FireShield ECO are GECA certified plasterboards suitable for Green Star or sustainable building projects. Both incorporate the benefits of conventional plasterboard systems — lightweight, recyclable and high performance — as well as the confidence from independent environmental product certification to GECA Panel Board Standard 04-2007.
For both commercial and residential applications, MastaShield ECO can be used for standard wall and ceiling systems while FireShield ECO is suitable for areas where a fire rating and good sound insulation performance is needed. These products may be substituted into over 30 standard and 140 fire-rated and sound insulation systems published in the Lafarge Plasterboard Tech Manual.
