Panels are capable of use either flat or as self-supporting curved arches. The system can provide unsupported spans of up to forty metres.
Panels interlock to form a continuous structural membrane with minimal screws or bolts.
All attendant works – skylights, ventilators, lights, insulation, ducts, ceilings, and so forth – can be incorporated easily and economically.
Acting compositely with reinforced concrete, the Spantech System provides earth covered hardened buildings which are used extensively by Defence agencies.
