Alleviating a convoluted floorplan and promoting views of its coastal locale, Alexander & Co have given Pacific House a logical yet stylistic revamp.
Comprising two young owners and their three children, the dwelling’s configuration was not acknowledging of the wide ranging vignettes held viewpoints in the home. A number of intrusions were made in order to increase warmth, ambience and connection.
The kitchen and island bench operates as the heart of the home, with oak cabinetry and marble flooring making for an earthy, coarse palette. The internal space opens seamlessly out to the alfresco area via two arched doors.
The living room is spacious and looks out towards the coastline, with the ground floor housing the rumpus room and a dining area characterised by a neutral colour scheme. An oakwood staircase acts as the bridge between the two floors.
