In the past graphic film has not typically been used on textured surfaces such as concrete, brick, tiles, and industrial stucco because they are unsuitable for such purposes.
3M Architectural has introduced 3M Scotchcal Graphic Film for Textured Surfaces (IJ8624) that can be used and moulded to textured substrates to make photographic quality images for advertising, promotion and general information. This graphic wall film can be used in a wide range of applications including stadiums, transit areas, retail and even schools.
Film IJ8624 features a unique construction that can be moulded to textured surfaces using 3M's proprietary application system with the Textured Surface Applicator TSA-1 and specialised installation techniques. TSA-2, TSA-3, and TSA-4 application tools can also be provided to help complete corners, grout lines and edges.
While 3M Scotchcal graphic textured wall film is easy to install, training is required.
