Several products from Acculine Architectural Systems were supplied to the contractor responsible for installing building protection products at the Liverpool Public Hospital, NSW.
The contractor, David Bishop of Homebrook Pty Ltd, sought a fair price for the products, which also needed to meet all the standards and specification requirements of the client, Health Infrastructure (NSW Department of Health). Speed of execution was an important factor and his tender had to be competitive and achievable.
The scope was broad and included door protection panels, handrails, corner guards, wall protection, bed locators and door frame wraps to be installed across several floors. The hospital also had a short project delivery period. Where other suppliers had lead times of around 12-16 weeks, Acculine was able to more than halve this wait time, at no extra cost.
Acculine met all of David’s requirements to supply and install door, wall and corner protection on this project, more cost effectively than other suppliers. All the products were supplied in stages - carefully packaged and labelled - so that they could be sorted effectively onsite. Lend Lease - D & C was the builder on the project, which was executed in 2010-2011.
Since then, David has worked with Acculine on several projects strengthening their partnership.
