Inventco’s sliding door closers feature a weight and pulley system to provide a friction-free, controlled closing action for lightweight flyscreen doors.
Mounted on the door, the DIY sliding door closer is filled with water during installation to prevent weights rattling during movement. Extra weights can be added for heavier sliding screen doors.
While the door closer allows maximum door opening of 1200mm, this must be restricted to 1100mm for the closer to work effectively.
Inventco’s sliding door closers can also be used for cavity sliding doors.
Installers must ensure that the doors glide smoothly and friction-free with fingertip control before installation.
